New Business Book to Help You Take Action and Get Results

I’m always on the hunt for high-quality business books that will help me grow as a leader and entrepreneur but also propel my business forward. When Russell Brunson’s team reach out to me asking if I’d like to work on a sponsored blog post and campaign together I knew that it would be a great fit. I had read Expert Secrets by Brunson and thought it was amazing so I was excited to read a new title by him, Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers.

In Traffic Secrets, Brunson unpacks how a lot of entrepreneurs aren’t getting stuck in creating innovative, amazing products as they might think. He shares how the huge problem is that customers aren’t even aware that the products exist. Tons of businesses are ending just as soon as they started because business owners aren’t grasping the art of and skill of getting dream customers find you.

I loved that this book was one of those that hurt my head. You know the kind, you read, cannot take enough notes and the concepts in it are so good, so revolutionary to you that you’re left wide-eyed and with that ‘head hurting’ feeling because you just consumed so much wisdom that you know that if you can just implement even twenty percent of what was said that you’ll be in a really great position.

Brunson talks about the direct marketing techniques that will take you to the latest of what’s happening in real time and see opportunities that others can’t see. Traffic Secrets walks you through how to master traffic strategies that help you get people to your website and then fill your funnels with your ideal customers.

I appreciate that this book the fact that it walks you through specifics. I need super concrete, detailed examples. I can only do ‘inspiration’ for so long, you know? If I’m working on something business-related, a small dose of inspiration can be good, but when I hear speakers and teachers talk solely on ideals and big picture stuff, it frustrates me. I think a huge piece of this for me is that especially when it comes to business, I want action steps. I need tasks that I can start quickly, make happen, and then get results in. And I feel like this is so key when being an entrepreneur. Sure, we all need to be inspired. But inspiration doesn’t make me money. Inspiration doesn’t move the needle forward in what I’m doing and trying to provide for my family.

In Traffic Secrets, Brunson takes us through more details on our dream customer, where they are ‘hiding out’, how to find them and engage with them and SO many tips on creating funnels that genuinely connect with them.

He walks us through specifics of various platforms - Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc., giving strategic plans for all of them and reaching that dream customer. There are tips given on how to best connect and then sell to the dream customer based on where they hang out and both making a way into their lives and sort of ‘paying to be heard’ via ads.

If you’re entrepreneurial and are looking for a business book that will give you tons of think on but even more to act on, Traffic Secrets would be a great one to pick up and read. I’ll be revisiting my notes from this book often and thinking through how I can continue to refine my messaging and make it even better.
